Today, we received our email to confirm that Stiwdio Hafod have secured a Bottle Top Giraffe from The British Ironwork Centre and Sculpture Park. The unique recycling project aims to educate children and communities about the importance of protecting our planet whilst inspiring them to think both innovatively and creatively in order to help make important environmental changes. The Giraffe will remain at Stiwdio Hafod from the 9th of September until the end of October and will be placed on the school yard. Pupils and staff will aim to fill it with bottle tops, both plastic and metal from the feet right up to the neck which stands at 7.4 feet! Should any staff or pupils from either of our sites like to help us, we would be more than happy to receive donations!
